The VMEbus system includes the following components:

  • 19" rackmount rugged chassis enclosure
  • Five slot, 6U VMEbus card cage with backplane and integral vertical extension mechanism
  • Gasketed for EMI/RFI protection
  • 350 watt switching power supply
  • Rear, filtered I/O panel
  • Removable drive carrier assembly
  • Provisions for an optional removable Touch Screen display
  • Assembly (user interface)
  • Integrated LED Reset panel
  • Console serial connector
  • Optional or additional, as required:
    • Choice of Freescale or Intel based VMEbus SBC
    • Blade or PMC level storage
  • Peripheral mounting
  • VME boards (SBC, Storage, Ethernet, other I/O)
  • I/O normalization between backplane, front panels, and rear panel
